How we handle your data
when we build with AI.

The short version

• We use your data only to do the work you hired us for.
• We access only what a project needs, and we tell you what that is up front.
• Your data is never used to train AI models.
• We delete project data within 30 days after an engagement ends, unless you ask us to keep it or the law requires otherwise.

Scope

This policy covers client data we handle during consulting, software development, and AI implementation work. Website inquiries and newsletter signups are covered by our Privacy notice.

What data we access

Depending on the project: sample documents, spreadsheets, exports from your systems, and access to tools such as your CRM or accounting software. We ask you to remove or mask information we don’t need, such as personal customer or employee details.

AI providers we use

We use OpenAI and Anthropic models through their business API tiers, whose terms don’t use submitted data for model training by default. On request, we build on Azure OpenAI or on a self-hosted model instead. When a client requires a specific provider, region, or self-hosted model, we design for that.

Training on your data

We don’t use client data to train or fine-tune models for anyone else. Any fine-tuning for your own system happens only with your written approval, and the result stays yours.

Retention and deletion

We delete project data we hold within 30 days after an engagement ends, unless you ask us in writing to keep it or the law requires us to retain it. AI providers may keep API inputs for a limited period for abuse monitoring under their own terms. Ask us anytime to delete data sooner.

Human review

AI systems we build include human review for decisions about money, safety, compliance, and customer commitments, unless you choose otherwise in writing.

Your controls

You decide what data we receive, which systems we can access, and when access ends. Ask anytime what we hold.
